Terms And Conditions

A legal disclaimer

Thank you for choosing Express Detailing HFX. We are proud to provide top-tier mobile vehicle detailing and seasonal services across the HRM. By booking with us, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions outlined below. These terms help to ensure a fair, efficient, and respectful experience for all parties involved. 

(1) Appointments, Cancellations & No - Shows

  • All services are by appointment only. Bookings can be made V.I.A our official website, social media, phone, or by email

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid fees or penalties. 

​​

  • Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice are subject to a $15.00 cancellation fee, which is at the sole discretion of the service provider

​

  • Clients who fail to show or make their vehicle unavailable at the time of service without proper notice will also be charged this fee

​

  • Chronic cancellations or repeated no-shows may result in your account being flagged, and we reserve the right to refuse future service. 

​

  • Time is valued to both our team and other clients. Respecting your booking helps us stay mobile and fair. 

(2) Payment Policy 

  • Payment is required in full at the end of your service - Cash Only

​

  • If payment is not received, your account is subject to immediate termination and other legal penalties. 

​

  • Once payment is received, a receipt will be issued V.I.A email or SMS(your preference) ​

(3) Conduct &  Professionalism 

  • All clients must maintain a respectful and professional attitude toward our staff at all times

​

  • Hostile, aggressive, discriminatory, or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated under any circumstances

​

  • We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or terminate service immediately in the event of: 

  1. Verbal Abuse

  2. Threats

  3. Harassment

  4. Any form of disrespect directed towards the team    

  5. Repeated no-shows

  6. Failure to pay

  • Our staff are trained to conduct themselves respectfully and safely - we expect clients to hold themselves to the same standards. (Please report any issues regarding quality or professional concerns and we will address them immediately as client satisfaction is our top priority) 

​

  • Violations of this policy may result in a permanent or temporary ban from booking with Express Detailing HFX or its affiliates.

​(4) Fuel Surcharge

  • A fuel surcharge of $10.00 will be applied to any booking located more than 30 km from our home base at:

383 Herring Cove Road, Halifax NS 

​

  • We calculate the distance using Google Maps from our shop to your service location. This fee helps cover travel time, fuel costs, and ensures our services remain affordable and mobile. ​

(5) Landscaping Services Disclaimer​

  • While our main focus is detailing, we occasionally offer brush, debris, and light yard clean-up and snow removal services.

​

  • Please Note: 

Any landscaping service that involves grass trimming, is subject to price changes based on yard size and condition. 

​

  • Final pricing will be provided upon viewing or customer consultation. We do not offer flat-rate pricing for full-yard work without prior assessment.

(6) Service Scope & Expectations

  • We do our best to deliver exceptional results every time. However, not all damage, stains, or wear can be completely removed - especially in cases of:​

  • Oxidized paints

  • Permanent fabric stains

  • Pet hair embedded in upholstery

  • Mold, rust, or chemical damage

  • If something is beyond what we can correct through detailing, we'll let you know in advance. 

​

  • Service requires your vehicle to be parked in a safe, legal, and accessible space. If unsafe conditions are present (e.g., tight alleyways, unsafe ground, or inclement weather) , we may request to reschedule or refuse service for that booking. (We always rebook for inclement weather)

(7) Satisfaction & Touch-Up Policy

  • Customer satisfaction is important to us. If you're not fully happy with the results, please notify us within 72 hours following your appointment with a description of the concern. (This can be done V.I.A "Customer Satisfaction" page, Email, or by Phone.

  • We'll do our best to arrange a touch-up as soon as possible, if it falls within the scope of the service provided.

(8) Liability Waiver

  • We are not liable for: 

- Pre existing damage (scratches, dents, tears, fading) 

-Delicate or failing paint clear coats

-Aftermarket accessories or wiring issues

-Any personal belongings left in the vehicle (Photos will be taken of everything prior to service beginning)

  • We may photograph vehicles before and after service to document condition.

​

(9) Changes to These Terms

  • These terms may be updated without prior notice. The latest version will always be posted on our website and made available upon request (Including the last date it was edited) 

​

  • By booking or continuing to use our services, you agree to abide by the current version of these terms (Version 1.1 updated June 05, 2025)

​

  • By booking an appointment with Express Detailing HFX, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
